The Signature Portrait Experience
Our Signature Portrait Experience is designed to capture your dog exactly as they are in this season of life — expressive, playful, dignified, or delightfully mischievous. Sessions take place at a selected location that we can explore together. Think parks, rivers, the beach, downtown sidewalks, the family farm, or wherever reflects your dog’s personality the most. By letting your dog be a dog, we’ll capture authentic moments you can keep forever.
Session Includes:
- Multiple scenes within the chosen location
- A curated online gallery of 30+ hand edited images
- 60-90 minute session

For Senior and End-of-life Memories
The Legacy Portrait Experience
These sessions are never about perfect moments. They’re about real ones. Regardless of how much time your furry family member has left, we want to capture their final chapter in images you can hold onto forever. Created to document the bond you share with your dog, we’ll photograph in the comfort of a familiar place — either at your home or another meaningful location nearby. We work at your dog’s pace, offering a calm experience that respects their well-being. Dogs may be photographed alone or alongside the people who love them most.
Session Includes:
- Relaxed, patient photography tailored to your dog’s needs
- A curated online gallery of 20+ hand edited images
- 60ish minute unhurried session

The Resort Session
The Resort Session is designed for those moments when you want a professional portrait — without the length of a full session. Photographs are taken at Muddy Paws Resort which features a beautiful lodge and 16+ acres of endless photo opportunities. Whether you’re documenting a brand-new puppy, celebrating a milestone, or preserving a final portrait of a beloved senior, this session provides a simple yet meaningful way to hold onto the moment. Though shorter in length, every image receives the same care and attention to detail as our full portrait experiences.
Session Includes:
- Up to 45 minutes at Muddy Paws Resort
- 3–5 professionally hand edited images
- Online gallery for viewing and download

Christmas Photographs
Welcome the season with an unforgettable portrait of your dog in our annual Christmas setup. Each year we design a fresh, festive scene — classic yet whimsical — perfect for holiday cards, framed keepsakes, and seasonal celebration. The theme is revealed each fall, with sessions offered throughout the holiday season. To maintain an intimate, relaxed experience, Christmas portraits are available exclusively to Muddy Paws Resort clients attending daycare, boarding, or grooming.
